Out & About
The village of St Neot, with its beautiful church, lies in the valley of the River Loveny on the edge of Bodmin Moor.  
It is an ideal centre from which to explore the Moors. You may want to bring your hiking boots as this is great walking country! There is good trout fishing at Colliford or Siblyback Lakes. Sea fishing is available from the ports of Looe and Fowey.
Bicycles can be hired and visitors enjoy cycling along the numerous trails which include; Cardinham Woods, The Camel

For garden lovers the estates of Lanhydrock and Boconnoc are nearby, while Heligan and the Eden Project are less than 45 minutes away.
Truro with its Cathedral and Museum are well worth visiting. Plymouth and the historic Barbican and Hoe has a wonderful National Marine Aquarium.

Mining was once an important part of St. Neot and the surrounding area. Places such as Morwellham Quay, Carnglaze and Minions reflect this.
